Anything is Possible the Power of Choice PVC-Free

Posted on

Consumers have the power to choose a toxic-free future. It requires paying attention to what we purchase and where it is manufactured. The bottom-line is we live in a world that is filled with hazardous chemicals and we are leaving a legacy of pollution for future generations. But, with choice, the future can be filled with companies that put people above profit and are truly proud of the products they manufacture.

One small step you can take is to go PVC-Free and avoid the poison plastic. The production of PVC releases toxic chemicals and uses the largest proportion of chlorine which can then be released in the environment during manufacturing and disposal. We need to raise awareness about plastic pollution and its long-term effect on the environment and marine life in our world’s water systems.

At Teckelklub, we really believe that no dog [or human] should wear any PVC products as they are made from toxic chemicals. Vinyl chloride, the key building block of PVC, is classified as a known human carcinogen. PVC products are manufactured in highly toxic factories offshore and are often labeled with the word vinyl. Please keep your dog and yourself safely away from PVC raingear.
