Autumn Inspiration - Fall Equinox

We are so happy to be in our favorite season of the year - Fall. With the Fall Equinox tomorrow Saturday September 22, we'll be 'falling in love' with all things Fall. Those long walks in our Vancouver trails where orange, yellow, and red leaves abound as deciduous trees stop producing chlorophyll. The crisp evening air that may mean turning on the heat for the first time after summer; and those dark evening walks in the rain. Equinox occurs when the Northern and Southern hemispheres of our beautiful earth experience an equal amount of daylight on Saturday, September 22 as the sun is directly in line with the equator for this special day.

If you are already thinking ahead to October, you're not alone. It seems the orange colors of pumpkins, gourds, and lantern plants [aka Physalis alkekengi) abound.
